The XP-33 is a successor to XP-3 and is the same as XP-31 and XP-32 (with different accessories).
Similar in sound quality to Sony D-321, but a bit warmer.
Not as loud as classic Sony D-5 brick, but has better sound quality.
The way I see, XP-33 is a 1-bit model that tries real hard to sound like classic multi-bits from 1985-1991.
