That's one of the finest cartridge/stylus combinations;
sounds sweet as honey.
Shure Hi-Track lately been selling for as much as $150 (with the cartridge). They are no longer available new.
Chinese fakes (stylus replacements) can be had for $20 shipped, but are not worth even those $20.
The PL-A35 combines studio quality performance with the operational ease of a fully automatic.
Start play, and the tonearm automatically moves over
and comes onto the record and, at the end of the disc, returns to its rest.
One touch Cue and Repeat features let you interrupt and repeat any record freely.
The platter is driven by a synchronous 4-pole motor of excellent stability independent from power voltage fluctuations.
The belt drive is precision finished on both sides, a feature that helps reduce wow and flutter
to an absolute minimum. The tonearm is moved by a separate, geared motor.
Unlike direct drive turntables this Pioneer has zero rumble noise.
