DC balance out was readied to here 1mV L/R, bias voltages were adapted to 10.5 mV L/R. Cold solder joints were reflowed with fresh solder. Deoxit D5/F5 therapy was done for all electric connections/switches.
This service takes 5 hours to do. It makes an aged receiver sound quite close to new.
Repair stores don't have time to to do all that, not at $70/hour.
