1977 was the best year for vintage stereo receivers, the year when the build quality did not suffer yet, yet solid state amplifier technology was already at its peak, as shown by such masterpieces as Marantz 2330.
This particular 5470 sounds almost as good as Marantz 2265 and Sansui QRX-7500; I can listen to it for hours, without any listening fatigue; Later models like SA-500 SA-700 cannot touch it, as far as sound quality goes.
I've been collecting vintage stereos for a long time, so trades for old Akai, Sony, Denon, Kenwood, Rotel, Luxman, Sherwood, Philips receiver, amplifier, CD player in any condition will be considered.
