SOUNDS AMAZING!
ALL-ORIGINAL, INCLUDING MATCHED PAIRS OF 2SB688+2SD718 POWER TRANSISTORS
In a big pile of rusty vintage receivers, this one is a hidden gem;
Has exceptional sweet and clear sound, perfectly balanced, not dark, not bright.
Lovely machine, considering the fact that brands like Marantz, Pioneer and Sansui used myriads of Toshiba transistors.
Nice, very clean in and out, dust-free, smoke-free,
all controls deoxed/lubed, are noise-free, bias voltage adjustments all done, sound is crystal clear.

* Damping factor: 40

Quote found online:
"The sound is what I'd call "mid-range musical", meaning not as much tight in the bass as my Marantz, and not as clear higher up as my Onkyo. Just a nice overall sound that doesn't offend anywhere."
I've been collecting vintage stereos for a long time, so trades for old Akai, Sony, Kenwood, Yamaha, Denon, Luxman, NAD, Philips receiver, amplifier, CD player, speakers, turntable in any condition will be considered.
