These Energy model was based on research done right here in Ottawa at National Research Council.
Similar in sound quality to Paradigm 5se II, but are slightly more musical.
Simply incredible sound for this size, can go loud and clear without notable strain.
They sound very clean, neutral, fast, dynamic and balanced - all the qualities rarely found together in a budget speaker design.
My opinion is that you can actually use them as small studio monitors, they are precise enough for that, and measure flat enough.
