This JBL line is famous for excellent sound quality (big transparent sound) in a small package.
These speakers will work with any mini or standard sized device that has mini-jack 1/8" = 3.5mm stereo output jack, including any Walkman type CD player, Walkman cassette tape deck, computer, or even some receivers that have this type of connector.
Best used with portable devices, of course.
Each speaker is 11" tall, 6" deep and is rated at 5 Watts continuous output, which is a lot for a portable speaker, considering that normal listening level with Walkman is between 0.2W - 1 Watt output.
