RARE JBL 4301B 4301BE PROFESSIONAL BROADCAST MONITOR SPEAKERS in Orleans, Ontario for sale

LEGENDARY SOUND
BLUE FACE CLASSICS, MADE IN GOOD OLE U*S*A
These are 4301BE Pro from my stereo collection, X-rare model, active studio monitors, with power amps bypassed, effectively making them passive 4301B, for use with big professional power amps. They were actually hanged from the ceiling in a recording studio some 15 yrs ago. The power amps are still inside and you can reconnect them, if so desired. For flexibility reasons I kept them the way I got them.
With that active/passive thing mentioned,
they WORK AND SOUND AS GOOD AS NEW.
No issues whatsoever, produce loud/crystal clear sound.
New foam surrounds were installed in 2012, voice coils alignment done, cabinets refinished with lacquer finish, for unique looks.
Banana plugs adapters will be included, as pictured.
JBL rated these speakers to produce 10 Watts output CONTINUOUS, with near zero distortion.
To compare, normal listening level is 1W output with any amp/any speakers.
Per JBL lab specs, 4301B can produce 98dB at 1m accurately, without distortion.
Recent sales, 2014: Kenrick Sound: $3500, Canuckaudiomart: $580
They use Mylar caps, like JBL 4311.
I can rebuild X-overs with Dayton/Solen capacitors if so desired, same way Kenrick Sound does.
I've been collecting vintage stereos for a long time, so trades for old Sansui, Pioneer, Yamaha, Rotel, Sony, Marantz, Denon, NAD amp, CD player, tuner in any condition will be considered.
