Cones, spiders, suspensions are in great shape, and no voice coil rubbing. 95dB efficient and 16 ohms nominal impedance, so good with tube amps (300B, 45, 2A3, 6C33, 211, 845, etc), or low power vintage transistor receivers or amplifiers, Marantz, Sansui, Kenwood, etc.
This pair has closely matched DCR of 11.0 and 11.4 Ohms.
Despite nominal ratings, typical values for this EV model is 11 to 12 Ohms.
They sound fantastic just the way they are.
One could add tweeters or horns if you wanted to widen the high frequency range. Use in TQWT, bass reflex, horn enclosures or open baffle. Also can be used to substitute blown woofers in Klipsch Heresy or other 12" speakers. They really sing with a single and simple first order crossover at 3,5 Khz with a decent tweeter.
