BDP-05FD employs a special circuit that eliminates jitter, a feat that would not be possible with pre-2007 tecnnology.
That results in a special sound quality.
This Elite is so good, I could not tell much of a difference, if any between my reference Denon professional dedicated CD player
and this machine. The only significant difference is that my Denon Pro is faster in reading discs.
