Custom built by myself/for myself with matched pair of Axiom 201 (England, 1962), Altec Seville cabs, 5-way Heathkit binding posts and audio grade 12G wiring (all those premium quality U*S*A-made).

These 12" Drivers made an exceptional job out of giving these female Voices a Body. Violins sounded really like a bow was put to the strings. The level of Detail presented is incredible. It clearly exceeds the the Beauhorn Virtuoso Reference Lowther DX3 by a notable degree. The Bass is more than deep enough (this system just LOVES Funk and Rap) with no overhang and excellent definition. E-Bass growls and slaps in just the right way, Kettle Drums gain lively Dynamics and Tone.
I'm impressed. These Speakers in the Bass again exceed the performance of the Virtuoso Gold. The soundstaging of this system is again exceptional, it combines the ability of Watt/Puppies to create Images far outside the speaker positions and a deep very finely layered soundstage.
Anyway, this turned out to really be a REFERENCE CLASS Loudspeaker. "
